Weekend
Hello all
Had a fun weekend with the family going to a water park with my boys and my 2 twin nieces. It’s an amazing waterpark, 12 stories high, and it’s something like 9500 square feet of a water park. So I was a bit nervous for the eating and everything…so Friday night we didn’t go out to eat like we normally would. I got a workout in, Saturday I got up early enough to get another quick workout in, and then watch my nieces play bball, then we jumped in the car to drive 3 1/2 hrs to the waterpark. For the first time, I felt confident in my body to wear a suit and play just as much as the kids. It’s not like I am the smallest girl, but at least I an getting my confidence back! My favorite ride was a family raft that you had to climb to the 12th floor and all 5 of us fit in together. The concrete on my bad toe was not ideal by any means, but hell it was so worth it for hearing the screams and the laughter and the stories that we were telling. I spent a good portion in the lazy river as well as other body slides and watching the kids do a surfing simulator.
We ordered in Dominos pizza, philly cheesesteak. omg my favorite. we never order pizza like that (we don’t get delivery to the house–thank GOD!). So I got a little carried away on the eating.
We got up this morning and swam from 9-11, got the kids showered and changed, and then we hit Chipolte. I love having a kid young enough the two of you can just split a meal. Me and lil man split a steak burrito bowl with sour cream, guac and cheese. I justified it by splitting it with him, so I didn’t even feel guilty.
No exercise tonight…which maybe will change. I am tired though. It was a long drive home, luckily all 3 kids slept! When I got home I ran around putting clothes away and doing laundry, and I am on my last load.
As I was running down the stairs…I reflected on how we when ran up the stairs, I didn’t get winded. And if my foot wouldn’t be hurting, I would have been going more than what I did!!!!! I am remembering this strong me that loves this lifestyle. I am going to make mistakes here and there, but I am going to try to just continue to watch my calories, and exercise.
This is going to be a long week…Monday I have girls night, Tues we have basketball, Wed I hang out with my little buddy and I am at a work function Thursday morning until later Friday night at a retreat, which equals booze and lots of calories!!!! I’m trying to figure out how I can get out of going to the bar and go workout instead. Gotta talk to my boss about that.
I need to remember that only certain things are in my control…and the rest I need to let go.
a waterpark!!??no freaking fair lol! is it indoors? sounds like you had a very fun weekend!!! Can you tell your boss that you’ve just got to commit to your workout routine? Maybe try to get across how important it is to you? I know that sort of thing really depends on the person though.
I am so jealous too that you got to go to the waterpark. I wish I could have gone…sounds like a blast! Great job getting your workouts in. I hope you have an awesome week and see a great number on the scale this Friday. Good Luck hunnie

Sadly about 5 minutes up the road a water park went up 2 years ago and we have never been and now we are moving across the country lol. I think you did good this weekend you were active and I believe in everything in moderation there should not be any forbidden foods. I try and eat clean but I don’t beat myself up if I eat something not clean eating.
Omg water parkkkk… I hate Massachusetts haha. I want southern and warmth!!!
